WCP thinks of fellow men

For the third time, our board member Rudolf Starck was able to receive a generous donation from Sven Mattis, owner of the company WCP, on 20 November 2020. With 10,000 euros, WCP GmbH is once again supporting the research and work of the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer. On behalf of the young patients and their families, we would like to thank Sven Mattis and his team for this wonderful and important support.

We were very pleased to receive a letter from the WCP team after the donation:

“The WCP team would like to thank you very much for the beautiful and colourful picture that was presented to us by Mr. Rudolf Starck.
After an extraordinary year full of challenges and extreme events, we became aware once again that health cannot be taken for granted. Especially in difficult times – which often also have a negative financial impact – we want to think of our fellow men who find themselves in even more difficult situations.

WCP GmbH would therefore like to support the research and work of the organisation with this year’s donation to the “Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer”.”

Many thanks for these beneficial lines.

Season farewell Niddastrand

The “Niddastrand” in Frankfurt-Nied ended this year’s season with an event on 4 October 2020.

The head of the town Susanne Serke and her husband, the two Eintracht legends Kumljenovic and Skela, Frank Rusko from the Stadtmission Frankfurt-Nied and the restaurant Niddakampfbahn provided dedicated support.

Again this year, Mary Massieu personally presented us with the proceeds of 550 euros as a donation for the benefit of children and young people with cancer.

We would like to thank everyone for this great commitment.

OMV Freigericht 2020

The fourth charity star ride of the OMV Freigericht at Whitsun fell victim to the corona virus. Nevertheless, we received a donation for which we would like to express our sincere thanks.

40 participants were already registered, 34 had already paid their entry fee. 2,730 Euros were collected. The classic car drivers waived their right to a refund. Thus, the organisers were able to hand over 2,730 Euros to our Chairman of the Board, Dr. Jürgen Vogt, for the benefit of children and young people suffering from cancer.

Also on behalf of the young patients, a heartfelt thank you for this wonderful commitment.

Cash donation from BIOZOL GmbH

In the run-up to Christmas 2019, BIOZOL GmbH decided to donate 2 euros to our foundation for every item ordered by 24 December 2019. This great campaign raised the considerable donation sum of 12,312 euros. This important support brings us a little closer to our goal of giving all children suffering from cancer a chance of a healthy future.

A big thank you to the company and the numerous customers who contributed to this wonderful result.

WCP GmbH helps again

Wire Cut Prototypes GmbH once again supported the work of our foundation with a generous donation in 2019.

After a brief tour of the premises by the Managing Director of the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer, Mr Rudolf Starck (1st from left), Mr Sven Mattis (2nd from left), Managing Director of Wire Cut Prototypes GmbH, presented the generous donation cheque for 8,000 euros.

We would like to sincerely thank Mr Mattis and his employees for continuing to support our research so generously.

Cash donation from Arnold GmbH

Arnold GmbH from Frankfurt traditionally supports our research work again this year.
The managing director of Arnold, Markus Bernsteiner (3rd from right), and his team (Sebastian Stroinski, André Serenbetz, Marko Jovanovic, Sebastian Herold and Elias Kurt) presented Dr Jens-Uwe Vogel (1st from left) with a cheque for 2019 on 11 December 2019 in the research building of the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer, saying: “It is a special concern of ours to support the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer year after year. A small contribution for a great cause.”
We would like to thank Arnold GmbH for their continuous commitment and wish Mr Bernsteiner and his employees a peaceful and reflective pre-Christmas period.

Oldtimer Club Freigericht

The Oldtimer- und Motorsportverein Freigericht e.V. visited the research house of the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer on the occasion of its successful Benefiz-Oldtimer-Sternfahrt 2019.

The charity vintage car star ride raised 17,500 euros for the benefit of Help for Children with Cancer and the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer. After a guided tour of the Foundation’s own Dr. Petra Joh Research House, the participants of the Oldtimer- und Motorsportverein Freigericht e.V. agreed that the donations are excellently invested to continue to enable world-class research here.

We would like to thank all participants of the Benefit Vintage Car Rally 2019 who contributed to this considerable donation sum.

Klaus Vogel Office Technology

For the second year in a row, Klaus Vogel Bürotechnik GmbH, based in Frankfurt, has dispensed with traditional Christmas presents for its customers and decided to support regional charities instead.

As one of the leading providers in the Rhine-Main region, the document system house develops professional and optimally adapted concepts for efficient printing and document processes. For more than 25 years, the Frankfurt-based family business has been offering its customers innovative and high-quality products in combination with competent support for all aspects of document creation, processing and archiving.

Patrick Vogel, Managing Director of Klaus Vogel Bürotechnik GmbH, said about the reason for the donation to the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer: “Especially at Christmas time, we want to pause and realise how lucky we are to be healthy. At the same time, it is important to us to think of the people who were not able to experience such happiness. As the father of a young daughter, cancer research, especially in the field of children and young people, is naturally close to my personal heart. If we can somehow contribute to improving the chances of success in curing cancer, we are very happy to do so.”

After a very informative and impressive tour of the premises and the research facility, Patrick Vogel presented a donation cheque for 2,500 euros to Managing Director Rudolf Starck.
