A big thank you to WCP GmbH!

Yesterday, our Managing Director Marcus Klüssendorf visited WCP GmbH to personally thank them for their generous donation of 5,000 euros. WCP GmbH creates prototyps for the automotive industry. Despite the difficult market environment, Managing Director Sven Mattis did not miss the opportunity to make another significant donation.

WCP GmbH’s support means so much more to us than just a financial contribution. It is a sign of joint commitment and solidarity for the weakest among us – children with cancer.

This donation will go directly to our research projects, with which we give children with cancer and their families hope for a cure.

A big thank you to Mr Sven Mattis and the entire WCP GmbH team for their commitment and valuable support!

Anniversary gift from Mainova: extension of the partnership to mark the 30th anniversary of the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer

Mainova AG has been supporting the Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer since 2004: The Dr Petra Joh Research Centre was built on land provided by Mainova through a hereditary lease and was extended with an annex in 2014.

The new CEO of Mainova, Dr Michael Maxelon, and the co-founder and CEO of the foundation, Dr Jürgen Vogt, are in agreement: the desire to support regional charitable activities and to drive forward research into new treatment therapies for the benefit of children and young people with cancer are a perfect match.

Dr Michael Maxelon paid tribute to the work of the foundation with the words: “A milestone birthday that gives hope and courage to seriously ill children: for 30 years, the employees of the Frankfurt foundation have been working to improve the treatment and quality of life of children and young people with cancer – and very successfully so. Around 80 per cent of young patients in Germany now recover. To ensure that even more young people benefit from this, we will continue to support this commitment in the future.

The partnership with Mainova AG is of great importance for the Foundation’s future work. It forms the basis for our goal of being able to cure all children and young people suffering from cancer in the future. A big THANK YOU for this long-term commitment.
